The PLHIV community led by the Network Plus Philippines Association, Inc. is excited with the upcoming launch of the new CLM platform. Below are some thoughts shared by community leaders from across the Philippines on the launching of CLM:

“Here at Cavite Positive Action Group in Region IV-A  natutuwa kame dahil magkakaroon na tayo ng  CLM dahil dito mas lalong magkakaroon at mapapalakas pa ang maibibigay na mga services ng mga Support Group sa buong Pilipinas lalo na sa HIV Counseling, pagpapababa at pagsugpo sa HIV Stigma & Discrimination kasama ang mga Treatment Hubs and Social Hygiene Clinic sa buong Pilipinas.” (JC Honra, CPAG)

“Excited ug Happy kami dria sa Davao Region apil na ang kinatibuk-an sa Mindanao nga mga SUPPORT GROUPS e.g. TAHAS, nga aduna nay  pamaagi aron maipadangat ang mga nasinati nga dili maayo ug diskriminasyon nga mga serbisyo nga gihatag sa mga pasilidad nga nagahatag ug HIV SERVICES and alike. Madungog ang amua boses maski dili kami mo istorya ang mga mulo sa mga kliyente ug mamahimo siyang ebidensya aron sa pagtan aw ug sumbanan aron sa paghatag ug maayong serbisyo sa mga kliyente. Ang CLM mamahimo siyang USA ka paagi nga maka strategize pa sa mga pasilidad sa paghatag ug QUALITY nga serbisyo. Mamahimo siyang sumbanan sa mga pasilidad, LGUs ug service providers nga adunay non discriminatory nga serbisyo alang sa komunidad. Mamahimo siyang sumbungan sa mga na discriminate. Mamahimo siyang plataporma aron maka impluwensya sa mga hingtundan nga muhimog polisiya aron pagprotekta sa katungod sa mga tao labi na ang Naga access ug STI UG HIV SERVICES. Mamahimo siyang sumbanan nga mapakusgan ang balaod ug labi na ang confidentiality sa USA ka tao.”

“Maka happy sad tungod kaming nasa layo sa sentro sa Pilipinas adunay kami’y plataporma na pwede madungog ang amua boses padulong sa National nga aduna pud kami mulo ug kinahanglan paminawon ug matagaan ug pagtagad ug maibaba ang budget ug serbisyo dria sa amuang dapit.” (Natsu Gray, TAHAS)

“Ikaragsak mi ditoy Ilocos Region nga parte kami iti CLM. Daytoy ket makatulong iti amin nga PLHIV ditoy Ilocos Region tapnu maamwan da nu naala ken nausar da amin a serbisyo nga maitid ti Facilities ken LGU. “The Positive Elders, Philippines (PELP) welcomes the Community-Led Monitoring (CLM). With the launching of CLM today, PELP sees it as a big step towards improving services and handling of patients at treatment hubs. With more than 62 members now, PELP considers CLM as an opportunity for elderly PLHIVs to give candid and constructive feedback on how they were handled in their respective treatment hubs and on the services given them or the lack thereof.” (Gem, PELP)
